Progress 2021–2023
The Ganahl Group has already achieved measurable progress:
- CO2 emissions (Scope 1 + 2): Reduction of -14%
Goals by 2030
- 100% green electricity: Our entire electricity demand will be met by renewable energy, eliminating the need for fossil fuels.
- Electrification of natural gas boilers: Existing natural gas boilers will gradually be replaced with electric alternatives, reducing our CO2 emissions and dependence on fossil natural gas.
- Promotion of electromobility: Our entire vehicle fleet will transition to electric vehicles, gradually phasing out diesel and petrol vehicles.
As part of the Science Based Targets initiative, the Ganahl Group is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Scopes 1 and 2 by 42% by 2030, compared to the baseline year 2021.
